Dinner With Disciples (DWD)
Carol Fisher is the DWD Coordinator for First Christian Church in Kennett. DWD is the "glue" that holds together the Wednesday evening activities. Each Wednesday, except the third Wed. of the month, there are numerous activities. Children's Choir rehearsal starts at 5:00 pm, then DWD at 5:30 pm. Food is provided for the children and parents, including any church member or prospective member, at a cost of $4.00. Youth Groups meets following DWD until 6:45 p.m.. Chancel Choir rehearsal is at 7:00 pm. Dinner With Disciples has become a very popular service, allowing members to stay at the church during the entire evening.
